How to make tasty Jeera Aloo

Onion and tomato prices are too high again. Want to eat something tasty without ruining your budget. Jeera Aloo is here to rescue. It can be prepared with minimalistic ingredients and in a very short time.

Recipe :

Take some potatoes and boil. Take oil in the frying pan and warm it. Add a pinch of Hing(Asafoetida) in it and then jeera in the frying pan. Peel the potatoes and chop them in small pieces. Add these potatoes in the frying pan. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander(dhaniya) powder and garam masala as per taste and mix them well. Now cover the pan and let them cook on low flame. Turn off the flame after 2 minutes and the dish is ready to serve.

Tip : These compliment the dals/lentils very well. Next time you prepare a daal, do accompany it with this tasty easy to make recipe.
